Welcome to PixelTidy. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle
information when you use our macOS photo organization application.
2. Information We Collect
Local Data Only
PixelTidy operates entirely on your local device. The application accesses folders on your Mac that you explicitly
grant permission to, solely for the purpose of organizing, comparing, and managing your photos. This data never
leaves your device and is not transmitted to any servers.
Application Settings
Your preferences and application settings are stored locally on your device using standard macOS storage mechanisms.
This includes your sync configurations, folder monitors, and display preferences.
Purchase Information
Your purchase of PixelTidy is handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We do not have access to your
payment information, billing address, or any other financial data.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect, access, or store your photos or personal files
- We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or address
- We do not use cloud storage or sync your data to any servers
- We do not use analytics or tracking services
- We do not display advertisements
- We do not create user profiles or track you across applications
3. How Your Data is Used
PixelTidy uses file system access solely to:
- Display and compare photos between folders you select
- Organize, move, copy, or delete files based on your explicit instructions
- Monitor folders for changes (if you enable background sync features)
- Generate thumbnails and previews for display within the application
All processing happens locally on your Mac. No data is ever sent to external servers.
4. Third-Party Services
The only third-party service involved is:
- Apple App Store – For app distribution and purchase processing. Apple’s privacy policy
governs their handling of your purchase data.
PixelTidy does not integrate with any analytics services, advertising networks, social media platforms, or cloud
storage providers.
5. Data Storage and Security
All application data is stored locally on your Mac in standard application directories. We do not operate any
servers that store or process your data. Your files remain under your control at all times.
PixelTidy respects macOS security and privacy features, including sandboxing and permission systems. The app only
accesses folders you explicitly grant permission to.
6. Children’s Privacy
PixelTidy is a general-purpose utility application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone,
including children. Since all data remains local to your device, no personal information is transmitted to us.
7. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- View stored settings – Application preferences are stored in standard macOS locations
- Delete all data – Uninstalling the app removes all application-related data from your
device - Revoke permissions – You can revoke folder access permissions at any time through macOS
System Settings - Control file operations – All file operations require your explicit action

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top
